You Too can Start your Own Energy 4 a Cause Initiative for your Community. How?
This initiative aims to encourage regular physical activity (energy expense) and the consumption of a healthy nutritious diet, because they’re well-established protective factors for the prevention and treatment of the leading Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), namely heart disease, stroke, diabetes and breast and colon cancer. They also contributes to the prevention of other important NCD risk factors such as hypertension, overweight and obesity, and is associated with improved mental health, improved quality of life and well-being.
The 1st step : Are you willing to engage in an energy expenditure physical activity daily, for two hours daily to accomplish 1. A Physical Active lifestyle 2. To shift your diet patterns to a nutritious dense traditional diet. 3. To engage in a community based initiative that will encourage physical activity in your daily life that can improve individual and community health and contributing to the social, cultural and economic development of your community. 4. Are you willing to deal with urban township mind-set that views crop farming as an outdated back wrecking hard labour for the poor and uneducated 5. Are you strong willed and goal oriented person, not afraid of hard labour, enjoy to exercise and are interested in agriculture
Then if the answer is yes to all above questions, then cheers for choosing to spend your energy for a cause, that will benefit you and your neighbours (community) with an improved quality of life and well-being.
Step 2: Identify a waste land (Vacant land) in your community that u think will be suitable for crop farming and will create a clean, friendly and healthy community environment. Outin Organics will assist in securing the rights to the land and soil analysis.
Step 3: Outin Organics will assist you in managing this project, from the initiation phase to the implementation phase of the project in your community.
Step 4: Outin Organics team will do land inspection and make all the necessary resources available and finance needed to turn your neighbourhood waste land (vacant land) to a food producing community garden farm.
Step 5: The harvest ripe crops from your community garden farm will be picked and stored in the storage facility will organize for you after the harvest process, then will assist you to develop a community based nutrition and active lifestyle intervention project called Makhe’s Kitchen.
The sole aim of this project is to create a food access social network that will serve as a Primary indicator to highlight that food is a natural resource an agricultural output and a primary source of human well being. Without that natural resource food and physical inactivity human beings won’t be able to survive and more people will be sick effected by lifestyle disease and become a burden to the already strained health budget.
